EPISTROPHY
Epistrophy is a London based high-end motion graphic design company specialising in title sequences for film and streaming, founded in 2024 by long term collaborators Matt Curtis, Stuart Pitcher and Søren Bonke.
Working with directors such as Tim Burton, Ridley Scott, Guy Ritchie, Doug Liman, Alex Garland, Danny Boyle and Asif Kapadia, the team has years of experience elevating the title sequence into it’s own beautiful area of the art of film.
Matt Curtis has long since established himself as one of London’s main title designers, and along with digital artists Stuart Pitcher and Søren Bonke has created a host of well loved main title sequences including Fantastic Beasts, Wonka, Ex Machina, Jurassic World, Edge of Tomorrow and many others.
Founded in 2024
Epistrophy was founded with an ambition to create a company which is nimble and adaptable to a fast changing world of technology. Embracing the rapidly developing tools should go hand in hand with retaining the classical virtues of film making and design.
Stuart Pitcher
Director
Stuart has worked as a compositor as well as a producer and has a great understanding of the post production process.
Matt Curtis
Director
Matt Curtis has many years experience designing title sequences for a wide array of high profile directors.
Soren Bonke
Director
Soren is originally from Copenhagen and has worked as a music composer and producer alongside 2d and 3d motion graphics.
